Mosselle Hensley Miles, 85 of Forest, passed away Monday, July 11, 2011 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was born on Saturday, June 19, 1926 in Campbell Co., a daughter of the late Albert Hensley and Mary Crowder Hensley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Reid A. Miles; three brothers, Branch, Dwight & Travis Hensley and sisters, Nadine Roberts, Margueriette Gunter, Belva Creasy and Ruby Davis. She was retired office manager of Allied Personnel and a 50 year member and past grand lecturer of the Order of the Eastern Star and Past President of the Scottish Rite Womans Club and was also a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Surviving is her daughter, Brenda M. Krantz & husband, Cecil, of Huddleston; two grandsons, Chadley R. Krantz of Hudleston and Bradley S. Krantz of Forest. The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider the Building Fund of Bethlehem Baptist Church, P. O. Box 99, Evington, VA 24550. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 15, 2011 at 12:00 noon at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 17440 Wyatt's Way, Evington, VA 24550 with Pastor Grant Harbridge officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 AM until the time of the service at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
