Duane Alan Davies Obituary

Duane Alan Davies, 76 of Huddleston, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at his residence. He was born on Sunday, June 15, 1947 in Tacoma, WA, a son of the late William Davies and Elizabeth Hopkins Lorance who survives. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Dana Lorance.


He was a Truck Driver at Murray Garbage Service with thirty-five years of service. Duane was an avid lover of the sea who enjoyed spedning time boating, fishing, crabbing, clam digging, cooking for his family and friends and watching auto racing. His laugh was contagious, finding humor in any situation.


In addition to his mother, is survived by his wife, Deborah Ann Flint Davies; daughter, Ann Medley (Mike); grandson, Curtis Medley; granddaughter, Maddie Medley; Five Sisters; One Brother; six nieces; eleven nephews; two great-nieces & one great-nephew.


There will be a service at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
