Shelby married my mother in the early 80’s and brought restored life to her, from there he was involved in every family function we had ( she had six kids so we were a very large family!) . He loved to sing and play his guitar and did so at many of the family functions. He quickly became a part of our family. When my mother fell ill in 2009 with ALS my sisters and I jumped in and took care of both of them and continue to take care of Shelby after my mother passed sway in 2010 until he went to live with his son. I know they are so happy to be together again.
