Obituary of Michael Alonza Goff

Michael Alonza Goff, 66, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023.  He was born on Monday, January 14, 1957 to the late Charlie A. Goff & Mary Higgens Goff.  Michael was also preceded in death by his son, Michael “Tiger” Alonza Goff, II; brother, Junior Francis Goff.

Michael loved working on cars.  He loved fishing and being outdoors.  He loved his animals and spending time with his grandchildren.  Michael always liked to ride the country back roads and listen to music with his wife, Patsy.  

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Jean Mattox Goff; children, Ronnie Robertson, Christopher Goff, Tina Wack (Billy); grandchildren, Amy Wack, Billy Boy Wack, Trevor Wack, Dalton Robertson, Dale Robertson & Damin Goff; siblings, Charlie Goff (Betty), Vannie Campbell, Delores Newman (Eddie) & Winford Goff; special friends from the hospice house, Susan, Trinda & Kayla; numerous other family members & friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Huddleston with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.  Interment will follow in Quaker Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
