Obituary of Kenneth Douglas Moore

Kenneth Douglas Moore, 57 of  Hurt, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at  his residence.  He was born on Thursday, July 7, 1966  in Lynchburg, a son of the late Charlie Birkley Moore and Dorothy Martin Moore.  

He was a machine operator at Morgan Olson. 

He is survived by his sisters, Hilda M. Morcom (Donnie), Kay M. Morris (Ed), Wanda M. Spencer (Scott); brothers, Roy Moore (Teresa), Charles Moore as well as his fiance, Jacqueline Lee & her family.  

The family will receive friends beginning at 10 AM on Monday, November 13, 2023 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston and a memorial service will follow at 11 AM in the chapel with Pastor Leon Anthony and Pastor Reginald Carter officiating.
