Obituary of Naomi Talbott Overstreet

Naomi Talbott  Overstreet, 82 of  Hurt, and formerly of Bedford passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the home of her brother.  She was born on Friday, January 24, 1941 in Pittsylvania Co., a daughter of the late George Raymond Talbott  and Thelma Maude Jacobs Talbott.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence "Buddy" Overstreet and her son, Lawrence M. Gibson  

She is survived by her brothers, Pinky Talbott (Betty), Sidney Talbott; her daughters, Mary Jo Parrott (Mike) of Bluffington, SC, Dina Marie Jordan (Pat) of Florence, SC; her son, Dean Gibson (Terri) of Midland, GA; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren; her friends at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints church in Bedford, especially Lucy & Elder Gross, as well as numerous nieces & nephews.  

The family will receive friends at the home of the brother, Pinky, 315 Longview Road in Hurt and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 13, 2023 at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints church in Bedford.
