Sharon Wroten Hartford, 46 of Bedford, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Philadelphia, PA. She was born on Tuesday, August 25, 1964 in Baltimore, a daughter of the Joan Short Wroten of Bedford who survives and the late Robert Wroten. She was employed by Bedford County and was a member of Word of Life Evangelical Church. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, John W. Hartford; a daughter, Rebecca Hartford of Bedford; a son, Christopher Hartford of Bedford; a brother, Robert Wroten of Delaware; a sister, Cindy Wroten of Bedford. The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Attention: Donor Services, P. O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 11, 2011 at 6:00 pm at Word of Life Evangelical Church with Rev. David Whitehurst officiating.
