Clem Robert Hodakoski, 82 of Bedford, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011 at his home. He was born on Thursday, November 22, 1928 in Plains Township, PA, the third son of the late Stepehen Hodakoski and Stella Serafin Hodakoski . He was also preceded in death by his wife and best friend, Vera Lam Hodakoski, two sisters, Ann Fedorczak, Dolores Calaide and a brother, Leonard Hodakoski. Surviving and sadly missing him are his "five D's", Donna Roane & husband, Kevin, Dianna Orn, Debi Orange & husband, Rickie, David Hodakoski,and David Foster and Dwain "Boo" Hodakoski; his grandchildren, Richard, Tina, Michael, Joe, Chris, David & George; great-grandchildren, Matt, Alex, Hunter, Katie, Austin, Gianni, JC, Dominic, David, Aiden, Madison, Noah, Madeline and Nicholas; two brothers, Edward Harris & wife, Martha, Raymond Hodakoski & wife, Connie; a sister, Carol Martinsky & husband, Joe; sisters-in-law, Gladys Leftwich, Verda Falls, Elsie Jones, Barbara Lam, Carol Hodakoski, a brother-in-law, Thomas Calaide as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was retired from the United States Air Force after serving 20 years. He was a man of great faith and love for his family. The disease of Vascular Dementia could never take away his smile or the twinkle in those beautiful blue eyes. We would like to give our sincere appreciation to Dr. Brian Buchanan, Dr. Austin, Faye, Teresa, Shirley, Teresia and the Adult Day Care of Bedford for all of their wonderful care and love they gave to our beloved "Pop." A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 4, 2011 at 2 pm at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford. The family will receive friends Monday from 1 until 2 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
