I had Mr. Sherman as a phys ed teacher at Bedford High and Liberty High schools back in the mid 60s. I had the unfortunate ability to get under his skin which would get me in trouble. Despite that, he was a good instructor and an all-around good guy. At class reunions, we would joke about our personality clashes. Although I didn't show it all the time I had a lot of respect for him. I am glad I knew him. May he rest in peace.
