Obituary of Sharon McDaniel Chassereau

Sharon McDaniel Chassereau, 59 of  Bedford, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Carillon Roanoke Memorial Hospital.  She was born on Thursday, April 2, 1964  in Bedford, a daughter of the late Walker "Bookie" McDaniel, Jr. and Betty Fridley McDaniel, who survives.  She was also preceded in death by her Paternal grandparents, Walker McDaniel, Sr. and Eula A. McDaniel; Maternal grandparents,  John D. Fridley and Lillian F. Fridley.   

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 44 years, Mike Clabourne Chassereau; her children, Jerimiah Walker Chassereau, Devynn Michele Chassereau, and Lonnie Glenn Chassereau; her grandchildren, Savannh Ashten Chassereau, Nicholas James Sipes, King Maddox Leonard, and Mirrihk Ahkilles Bryant; a sister, Gayle Rhodes (Jeff); a niece, Amy Shope; nephews, Eric Shope, and Isaiah Rhodes.  

A memorial service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford.
