Obituary of Connie Earl Hodges

Connie Earl Hodges, 61, of Thaxton, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.  He was born on Monday, December 10, 1962 to the late Earl Hansom Hodges & Elizabeth Miller Matherly.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Janet Ragland; nephews, Bubba Brown & Brandon Ragland.

Connie loved listening to music, watching western movies & detailing cars.

He is survived by his step-father, Carlos Matherly; sisters, Jennifer Brown (Ronnie) & Beverly Foley (Dale); nephew, Donnie Brown; nieces, Keshia Ervin & Delores Ragland; special friend, Dana Hamblin.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on March 23, 2024 at New Beginnings Baptist Church, 5410 Jordantown Road, Vinton, VA, 24179 with Pastor Michael Huffman officiating.
