Daniel David Bruce, II., 61 of Bedford, VA passed away Saturday, March 20, 2010 at the Univerisity of Virginia Medical Center. He was born on Sunday, December 5, 1948 in Lynchburg, VA, a son of Hattie Thomas Dudley Bruce of Lynchburg and the late Daniel David Bruce, Sr. He was a self-employed vendor at County Line Flea Market and also Happy's Flea Market. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Brooke Haley Bruce of Bedford; and a sister, Barbara Mays of Forest and a step-son, Aarom ARmstrong, Bedford. A funeral service will be held at the graveside at Virginia Memorial Park on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Joe Horrell and Rev. Tommy Hicks officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
