Riley Levelle Crouch, 86 of Huddleston, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at Oakwood Health & Rehab. He was born July 23, 1937 in Bedford County, a son of the late Delbert Crouch and Ada McBride Crouch. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Aiden Crouch and five brothers and three sisters.

He was retired from the Lane Company with thirty-six years service. Riley never met a stranger and enjoyed his grandchildren as well as coaching ball and he loved riding the roads.

Riley is survived by his wife, Carolyn Foutz Crouch; two sons, Ty L. Crouch (Penny), Randy L. Crouch (Tara); a granddaughter, Ava Crouch; his step-granddaughters, Alexis Ryan Hahn (Austin), Skylar Ryan Wells (Gary), Meridith Miller, Isabella Nester; great grandchildren, Avery Thomas, Piper Thomas, Saylor Thomas and Rose Hahn as well as his sister, Kathryn Pruitt and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Riley Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM on Wednesday evening at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
