Obituary of Viola Jenkins Woodward

Please share a memory of Viola to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Mom, Viola Woodward, of Kodak, TN and formerly of Forest passed away at home on June 1, 2024 to be with her Heavenly Father. Mom gave joy, support, and love to her children while always trying to guide them toward the love of the Lord. She was a fabulous Mom who blessed her family with her love, kindness, tremendous heart for her children, and love for the Lord. Mom loved creating through sewing, crocheting, painting, crafts, and writing Christian children's stories. She joins her husband, Richard Woodward. She talked about seeing her parents, Clyde Jenkins and Gladys Jenkins of Brandy Station, VA, and her sister, Lorraine Winn. Mom is now in fellowship with each of them, singing praises to the Lord. She also joins her brothers, Randy, George, Roy and Thomas.

She leaves behind her children and their families: Steve (Doris), Pam (Ron), Gary (Naomi), and Kenny (Penny), her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as her brother, Herbert Jenkins.

In lieu of flowers, please leave tithes at your church or local hospice center.

We appreciate Smoky Mountain Home Health and Hospice and Senior Home Assistance for their Christian love and care for Mom.
