Mary Snead Eppley Obituary

Mary "Mickey" Snead Eppley, 88 of Bedford, passed away Friday, August 23, 2024 at Cardinal Senior Living. She was born October 18, 1935 in Roanoke, a daughter of the late James Lacy Snead and Dora Perdue Snead. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Clifford L. Snead and Alton L. Snead & son-in-law, Michael W. Blankenship.



She is survived by her husband, John Andrew “Nonnie” Eppley. On August 25th, they would have celebrated their sixty-ninth anniversary. She is also survived by her daughters, Sharon E. Blankenship, Laura E. Key (David); her son, Charles A. “Andy” Eppley (Esther) as well as her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.



The family would like to thank the staff of Centra Hospice and Cardinal Senior Living for their compassionate care and concern.

A graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Quaker Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Timma and Chaplain Emmanuel Bautista officiating. There is no visitation.
