Dicksie Nance Martin, 79 of Bedford, passed away Friday, August 12, 2011 at Bedford Memorial Hospital. She was born on Friday, February 12, 1932 in Crumpton, MD, a daughter of the late Richard Estes Nance and Florence Marie Biddle Nance. Surviving are her sons, Michael Edward Martin & wife, Vickie of Bedford, Marshall Lance Martin & wife, Tina of Bedford; her daughters, Dayna Marie McKendree of Panama City, FL, Terrie Martin Dort & husband, Dean of Irvington, VA; her brothers, Parker Biddle Nance, Zane Nance, both of Bedford, as well as five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. There will be no services for Mrs. Martin. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
