The very best memories I have of " Uncle Cork were the personal times ...the non judgemental times of just enjoying " taking walks together down his lane to get the mail with his dog and he picked up a pine cone on a stick and handed it to me and said " here is something to remember our walks together" ...I still have that today !! ...and fishing in his pond alongside him and getting a good catch of fish ...and cleaning them and he said " you remind me of your mom " ...his sister Nancy ...and him frying them up for me and him to eat . .The country rides with him and Aunt Pearl through the mountains and being shown such beautiful places ... The trust he gave me to have me ride the John Deer mower and mow his acerage.But , mostly the time he spent with Liz and I to make us laugh . Then to have been given the opportunity to see him this spring and give him a hug and kiss and tell him " I love you Uncle Cork "...He smiled and said " I love you too ". Never will he be forgotten ..good good Uncle Cork ....love always from his niece Laura and Mike .Peace and eternal rest ..jobs well done Uncle Cork .
