Obituary of Rhonda Sue Ferguson
Rhonda Sue Ferguson, 65, of Huddleston, was given her wings to be with the Lord on August 10th, 2024. She is survived by her two beloved children; her son (aka: Manns) Russell Kyle Orange III and her daughter (aka: Babydoll) Bobbi Sue Orange; her grandson, Kaden Trey Orange and granddaughter, Savanna Sue Orange; special friend and companion, Hensley D Goad, and special family member, Zackery R Goad; along with an abundance of and very much-loved friends and family members.
Rhonda Sue “Na-Na” will always be remembered for her extremely kind and loving soul and her warm tender heart. She was the most patient and caring mother and grandmother (aka: NaNa) to her kids and grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart, mind, and soul; as well as a loyal and uplifting supporter to any and all of her friends and family who came in contact with her.
Rhonda Sue “Na-Na” loved dancing around anywhere at any time acting goofy and laughing with her loved ones, especially her kids and grandson Kaden, whom she always called her best little friend. She was always being crafty and showing off her “green thumb”, worried sick about her flowers and trinkets in her garden, which she called her therapy. There was never a dull moment with her around. And no matter what time it was she always knew what to say and do when it came to being supportive and a shoulder to lean on. Lastly, anytime she was closing a conversation on the phone or in person, before hanging up or leaving, she would always remind to say, “See ya later”, instead of saying “Good-bye”, and that she loved them.
So, Rhonda Sue (Mommy, Na-Na, Mama Dukes, Sunshine, Mama Sue), this is not “Good-bye”, this is a “SEE YA LATER” and we all love you so very much.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at The Huddleston Church of God of Prophecy (1022 Winona Lane, Lynch Station, Va., 24571) with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.
