Dearest Pam and Family, my heart goes out to you in this time of sorrow. We have been friends since high school and Tommy was part of that friendship .
No more suffering. He fought the good fight and now his victory is in Jesus .
Much love, hugs and prayers to you all.
Love you my friend,
Donna Sue Mayhew Hamlett

Q: Where did Thomas like to travel?
A: I met Thomas thru his daughter Erin and wife Pam. Erin, Pam, Malani and myself traveled frequently to Bush Gardens as we have season passes. I often asked Pam, why Tom would never come with her and her answer was always "Tom isn't a big traveler, he would prefer to stay near Bedford, VA, his home. He loved his farm activities and visiting antique shops around town. He was known for surprising Pam with whatever piece of jewelry she had her eye on at Arthur's Jewelry in Bedford and she wore each piece proudly. I often asked Pam why she wore all of her jewelry to the amusement park and she would say "I feel naked without it" and proceed to tell me about each piece Tom had bought for her. Such a sweet memory I have of him even though I wasn't making the memory with him personally. Rest in Peace, Tom. We will all see you soon.

Will definitely miss my buddy coming in our office or calling me about a tractor he had bought to add to his insurance. We talked farming, tractors, cows and donkeys! I went to look at a dead cow struck by lightning one time and he let me drive his new tractor over to load it on truck! I felt really special that day! Rest in peace my friend. Prayers to the family.
