Early Lay Tuck, Jr. Obituary

Early Lay Tuck, Jr., 85 of Lynch Station, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born on Thursday, November 3, 1938, a son of the late Early Lay Tuck, Sr., and Hattie Hines Tuck. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Vickie Moore; two sons, Chuckie Tuck, James Pritchett; seven brothers; four sisters.


He was retired from Richardson-Wayland Electrical Corporation having worked as Lineman and was a member of Masonic Lodge of Mentow.


He is survived by his wife, Lavonne Power Tuck; son, Todd Tuck; daughter, Tracey Pritchett; two grandsons; two granddaughters; four great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons.


In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.


A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at the Tuck Family Cemetery, Leesville with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.
