Lindsey Carlyle Beckner, Jr. (Buster), 72, of Lynchburg passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, June 18, 1952 to the late Lindsey Carlyle Beckner, Sr. & Frances Brown Beckner. Buster is also preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Beckner, Richard Robertson & Curtis Beckner; sister, Linda Beckner.

Buster loved working & taking care of his family. He loved playing poker, slot machines & watching westerns. At nighttime, he loved snacking on sweets.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Debra Campbell Beckner; children, Darryl, Shana (Shawn), Michelle (Kenneth), Lindsay (Justin); special daughter, Laura (Jeromie); eighteen grandchildren, Shakira, Christian, Chelsea, Darryl, Jr. (Bo Bo), Hannah, Maddy, Kenzie, Kyleigh (Boo), Jade (Jadey Poo), Chloe, Lexi, Journei K, Mason, Kamden (Bam Bam), Kassie, Stormy, Gracie (Honey Boo Boo); great-grandchild, Oaklynn Grace and one on the way, Aurora Nicole; brothers, Mike Robertson (Brenda), Jimmy Robertson (Diane), David Beckner (Wanda); sisters, Nancy Williams, Terry Beckner; numerous nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Updike Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
