Obituary of Mary Betty Wilson

Mary Betty Wilson, 85 of  Evington, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024 at Oakwood Health & Rehab. Center.  She was born on Wednesday, March 1, 1939 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Jerry Wilson and Ellie Pippins Wilson.  She was also preceded in death by two sons, Robert  William "Little Bobby" Elkins, Buddy Lee Elkins.
She was retired from Golden West Foods. 

She is survived by her daughters, Becky Overstreet, Sheila Dawson, Gloria Lee (Hubert), Shirley Boggs; her sons, Carson Elkins (Julie), Douglas Wayne Elkins; her sister, Louise Goff as well as 16 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.  

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 12 PM on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 and a graveside service will be follow at 1 PM at Peaks Presbyterian Church & Community Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
