Obituary of Terry Wayne Dooley, Sr.

Terry Wayne Dooley, Sr., 66 of Bedford, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 in Centra Lynchburg General Hospital.  He was born October 3, 1958 in Bedford County, a son of the late Douglas W. Dooley, Sr. and Eleanor Overstreet Dooley.  

He is survived his children, Terry Dooley, Jr. (Samantha), Travis Dooley (Sheena), Tracy Jennings (Brett), Jennifer Alderman (Craig); sisters, Cynthia Anderson (Avery), Carol Crochiere (Edward); a brother, Douglas Dooley, Jr. as well as fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford and a funeral service will follow at 2 PM in the chapel with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating.
