Obituary of Charles Marvin Bucklew
Charles Marvin (Chuck) Bucklew, of Moneta, Virginia, went to be with the Lord and the big “Cruise-in” in the sky on January 7, 2025.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Eula Bucklew, three sons, Christopher Bucklew (Dawn Cox), Greg Bucklew (Jennie), and Steven Bucklew (Rebecca), four grandchildren, Ryan Bucklew, Tiffany Palmer (Andrew), Emily Bucklew, and Ethan Bucklew. He also leaves behind his siblings Tom Bucklew (Vicky), Randy Bucklew (Missy), Pete Bucklew (Teresa), and Sherry Menold (Paul), and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as countless friends and cronies of the cruise-in, antique and classic car community.
When Chuck was not with his wife or spending time with his family, you would find him being the life of the party at a local cruise-in, car meet, or car show. He was passionate about classic cars, art, dancing the shag, telling stories and jokes to make everyone laugh, and listening to the blues. He will be deeply missed.
Family will receive friends on Monday, January 13, 2025, between 11 am and 1 pm at Bread of Life Church, 208 Kings Way Rd, Rustburg, VA 24588, followed by a service.
In lieu of flowers, we suggest making a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital St. Jude Donation Page (www.stjude.org).
