Dorothy was one of the many memorable people of my childhood in Goodview. One of my favorite 'jobs” as a child was running down the road from D & M Grocery to get the mail. I was always greeted warmly by Dorothy or Bobby, and we chatted for a while. I always loved Dorothy and Bobby.
My family sold the store in 1972, but I was fortunate enough to keep up with the Hannabass family and become close again when they came to our church.
At church, Dorothy and Margaret were so kind, always willing to volunteer to help my sister and others working behind the scenes to help prepare and serve meals to families after a loved one's funeral. Their ministry of kindness will never be forgotten.
