Regenya Bennett Coffey, 65 of Altavista, VA passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on Tuesday, January 1, 1946 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Eugene Carlton Bennett and Martha Faye Adcock . She was also preceded in death by husband, Melvin Ray Coffey. Surviving is her son, Ray R. Coffey Jr. of Evington, VA; a grandson, Brett Dwayne Coffey and a sister, Darlene Jacobson of Forest. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
