Donald Buford Shinault, 71 of Bedford, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at his residence. He was born on Saturday, May 4, 1940 in Pulaski Co., a son of the late Buford Ernest Shinault and Callie Elizabeth White Shinault. He was a retired employee of Ethan-Allen Furniture. Surviving is his daughter, Shannon Overstreet & husband, Solly of Bedford, three granddaughters, Nickki Tedesco & husband, James, Kaitlin McCombs, Audrey McCombs, all of Bedford, a great-grandson, Marc Tedesco; a sister, Bonnie Goad & husband, Ledford of Christiansburg, a brother, Bill Shinault & wife, Ellen of OH as well as many nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 2 PM at Christian Life Ministries with Rev. Mike Dodson officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
