Luther Nussbaum, 89 of Bedford, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Oakwood Health & Rehab. Center. He was born on Monday, September 25, 1922 in Orrville, OH, a son of the late Simon Nessbaum and Sarah Nevenschwander Nessbaum. He was a retired minister and was a U. S. Navy veteran having served in World War II. Surviving are his sisters, Mariam Mussbaum, Christine Nussbaum, both of Orrville, OH; a brother, Tom Nussbaum of Orrville, OH. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Mr. Clinton Goff and Mr. Leslie White officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 noon until the time of the service at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford. Mr. Nussbaum will then be transported to the Auble Funeral home in Orrville, OH where services will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 3 PM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery in Mt. Eaton, OH.
