Christopher Warren Markham, 24 of Bedford, passed away Friday, February 10, 2012 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was born on Friday, August 28, 1987 in Bedford Co., a son of Silas H. Markham and Carolyn Faye Sine Markham of Bedford. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Silas Edward Markham, maternal grandparents, Warren T. & Katie Bryant Sine, his aunt, Linda Tweedy, and his uncle, David Sine. He was employed by Goodwill Industries as a cashier. In addition to his father & mother, he is survived by his paternal grandmother, Thelma Markham Cofflin of Bedford, his best friends, Jeremy Dooley, Ed Bowyer as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Holy Land USA Cemetery on Tuesday, February 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ray Lyons officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
