Ollin Wayne Nester, 77 of Bedford, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 at Bedford Memorial Hospital. He was born on Monday, February 11, 1935 in Bedford Co., a son of the late Sidney Albert Nester and Eula Gertrude Creasey Nester. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Ray and James Edward Nester and one sister, Peggy Goff. He was a retired employee of Rubatex Corporation and was a member of Cool Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church. Surviving is his wife, Peggy Ann Ruff Nester; three daughter, Dreama Monteith of Bedford, Wanda Dooley & husband, Carl of Bedford, Wanda Pedigo of Roanoke; five sisters, Gladys Dooley & husband, Robert of Bedford, Shirley Nichols & husband, Charles of Salem, Betty Goff & husband, Gordon of Big Island, Nancy Carter & husband, Roy of Bedford, Katherine Carter of Thaxton; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Nester, Bedford, Mary Nester, Blue Ridge; five grandchildren, Matthew Nester, Chad Dooley, Andy Dooley, Caleb Dooley, Ashley Gills; three great-grandchildren, Brooke Nester, Alstin Dooley, Brendon Gills. The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider Bedford Lifesaving Crew, P. O. Box 161, Bedford, VA 24253. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Cool Springs Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Larry Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Peaks Presbyterian Church & Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
