Gladys Clark Hille, 71 of Bedford, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012 at the home of her daughter. She was born on Wednesday, June 12, 1940 in Rockbridge County, VA, a daughter of the late Levi Crowder Clark and Judith Dandeline Mason Clark . She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Surviving are her husband, Floyd Jay Hille Sr. of Bedford, Daughters; Teresa H. Covington & husband Mark of Hurt, Linda H. Clark & husband Steven of Kansas City, MO, Debra H. Nalder & husband Bill of Lewiston, UT, Martha Hille of Austin, TX, Sarah H. Hall of Germantown, MD, and Mary H. Toxey & husband Eric of Gaithersburg, MD; Sons; Russell Lynn Hille & wife Beth of Glasgow, and Floyd J. Hille & wife Angela Jr. of Mexico, ME; Brother, Gorman Lilley & wife Clara of Richmond; Sisters; Thelma Conner & husband Sam of Sandy, UT, Betty Shiflett of Sandy, UT, Ruth Peterson & husband Val of St. George, UT, and Lillie Arvon & husband Ron of St. George, UT, as well as 20 Grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Bedford Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with President J. William Fowler presiding. Interment will follow in Virginia Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 10, 2012 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
