Donna Long Ostendorf, 60 of Roanoke, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born on February 6, 1952 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Johnny E. Long and Helen Roop Long, of Montvale who survives. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, H. Russell Ostendorf; two daughters, Tami M. Jones, Lisa M. Jones, both of Roanoke; two sisters, Wanda F. Long of South Carolina, Linda S. Barnett & husband, Robert of Roanoke; a brother, Gary W. Long & wife, Anne of Moneta; three nephews, Greg S. Holdren, Hunter W. Long, Corey S. Holdren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 7 PM at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford.The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 PM until the time of the service at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
