William Claude Goff, Sr., 84 of Lynch Station, VA passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home. He was born on Friday, November 25, 1927, a son of the late Fred Goff and Rose Gray Goff . Surviving are his sons, William C. Goff, Jr. & wife, Mary of Lynch Station, Randy Goff of L:ynch Station, Donald Goff & wife, Shannon of Lynchburg, Richard Goff & wife, Lisa of Huddleston; Brothers, George Goff & Russell Goff; Sisters, Elsie Riley, Hazel Goff and Hattie R. Griffith, all of West Virginia, sixteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 am at Updike Funeral Chapel, Huddleston with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Hermon U. M. Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, June 01, 2012 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
