Glen Allan "Robbie" Robertson, III, 63, of Huddleston, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012. He was born November 12, 1948 in Denver, CO, a son of the late Glen Allan Robertson, II and Ruth Grove Robertson. He is survived by his wife, Clare Robertson; son, Stuart J. Robertson of Huddleston; daughters, Kathleen Vassar of Bedford and Julia C. Robertson of Huddleston; granddaughter, Kailyn G. Saunders of Bedford, as well as many caring friends. Along with spending time with his family, his passion was his music. A talented musician, he played professionally for many years. A memorial service will be held Monday, July 23rd at 11 am at Bethesda United Methodist Church in Huddleston, with visitation following the service. The family will also receive friends at their home on Sunday, July 22 from 5 - 7 pm. Memorial donations may be made to Bethesda United Methodist Church Building Fund, 14340 Wyatts Way Huddleston, VA 24104. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
