Marvin Lee Crunkleton, 68 of Bedford, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. He was born on Thursday, February 17, 1944 in Patrick County, VA, a son of Edna Hall Crunkleton of Bedford and the late Thomas Newton Crunkleton. He was a self-employed in the janitorial service. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughters, Sheri Lynn Rose & husband, Russell of Hardy, Tina K. Barker & husband, Dale of Bedford, Samantha Lee Dickerson of Madison Heights, six grandchildren, Holly Byers, Austin Mitchell, Dylan Mitchell, Rylee Mitchell, Kendall Barker, Keeleigh Dickerson, a step-grandchild, Mackenzie Rose and a great-grandchild, Lydia Byers. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 6 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
