Jimmy Lewis Overstreet, 69 of Bedford, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012. He was born on Tuesday, January 5, 1943 in Bedford, a son of the late Henry Clay Overstreet and Ellen Mildred Overstreet. He was a retired Furniture Maker. Surviving are his son, William Lewis Overstreet & wife, Kristiana of Roanoke; a brother, William Henry Overstreet & wife, Cynthia; a sister, Laura Elizabeth Overstreet, all of Rhode Island and a special cousin, Nancy Walker of Bedford. The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider the Moneta Rescue Squad, c/o Mike Harper, Treasurer, P.O. Box 497, Moneta VA 24121 or Wilson's United Methodist Church. Graveside services were held on Friday September 28, 2012 at 11 AM at Wilson's United Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
