Elaine Carol Wilson, 64 of Goode, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born March 24, 1948 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Charlie C. Wilson and Elizabeth Goodman Wilson. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred & Robert Wilson and a sister, Shirley Burnette. She is survived by three brothers, Edward Wilson & wife, Barbara of Evington, James Wilson & wife, Patricia, Madison Heights, Joe Wilson & wife, Ginny of Forest; four sisters, Betty Witt & husband, Allen of Bedford, Lillie Parrish & husband Charles of Goode, Louise Eades & husband Buck of Gladys, Martha Hudson & husband, Donald of Appomattox; a devoted niece, Elizabeth Wilson of Goode; a sister-in-law, Patricia M. Wilson of Goode, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.A funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 2 PM at Timber Ridge Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
