Cameron Kyle Burnette, 21 of Goodview, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at University of Virginia Medical Center. He was born on Tuesday, October 22, 1991 in Roanoke, a son of Mack B. Burnette and Tammy Creasey Burnette of Goodview. He was employed by Platos Closet and was a member of Quaker Baptist Church . In addition to his father and mother, he is survived by a sister, Devon N. Burnette of Goodview; his paternal grandmother, Sammy A. Burnette of Bedford; his maternal grandparents, Bill & Linda Creasey of Bedford; aunts & uncles, Susan VanWijk of Fredericksburg, Monty & JoEllen Burnette of Evington, Kerry & Michelle Creasey of Huddleston, Billy Joe Creasey & Tonya Nance of Bedford; cousins, Matthew Burnette, Taylor & Hollie Creasey, Whitney & Heather Nance; special friends, Aaron Crowder, Bethany Fielder & many more. The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider the Kaylin Martin Medical Fund, c/o Quaker Baptist Church, 4665 Chestnut Ford Road, Bedford, VA 24523. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 3 PM at Quaker Baptist Church with Rev. David Timma & Barry Tosh officiating. Interment will follow in Quaker Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 4 until 8 PM at Quaker Baptist Church. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
