Linda Stevens Robertson, 65 of Bedford, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was born on Saturday, May 24, 1947 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Raymond Edward Stevens and Beulah Bates Stevens. She was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Dwayne Robertson and a brother, Rudolph Stevens. She was a retired employee of Smyth Companies and was a member of Lighthouse Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving is her husband, Fred Hampton Robertson; a son, Scott P. Robertson of Bedford, two grandchildren, Kasey Robertson, Keith Robertson, both of Bedford; five brothers, Lenfred R. Bates of Gastonia, NC, Lewis E. Stevens, Mahlon E. Stevens, Malcolm C. Stevens, all of Bedford, Phillip Stevens of Rustburg; a sister, Judith S. Hackworth of Goode. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 10, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Lighthouse Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Ross officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3 until 5 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford
