Jack S. Neel, 76 of Huddleston, passed away Friday, January 4, 2013 at his residence. He was born on Sunday, January 3, 1937 in Chickasha, OK, a son of the late Oliver Neel and Rebecca Lee Rasberry Neel. He was a retired Engineer with U. S. Army Aviation and also a retired technician with Electric Bolt. He was a U. S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam. Surviving is his wife, Inge Luise Katzenbacher Neel; three daughters, Patricia Dawson & husband, Kerry of Fork Union, VA, Brenda Hardy & husband, Matt of Niantic, CT, Barbara Neel of Bozrah, CT; and two grandchildren, Kelsey & Damian. A service at Arlington National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
