Charles Ronald Seabolt, 83 of Bedford, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at his residence. He was born on Sunday, July 28, 1929 in Smyth County, a son of the late Frank Thomas Seabolt and Pearl Mae Dillman Seabolt. He was a retired employee of Bedford Weaving/Belding-Corticelli and was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. Surviving is his wife of sixty years, Sadie Foutz Seabolt; his son, David Wayne Seabolt of Thaxton; two sisters, Betty Frances Chappelle & husband, Bill, Clara Lee Mayhew & husband, Ray all of Bedford. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Dr. Joe Shoop officiating. Interment will follow in Thaxton Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday after 12 noon and the family will receive friends from 5 until 8 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
