Obituary of Warren Tuck

Warren "Benny" Tuck, 60 of Moneta, passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 at his home. He was born on Wednesday, December 31, 1952 in Bedford County, a son of the late Warren James Tuck and Ruth Elizabeth Harris Tuck. He was a Machinist with Norfolk Southern Railroad and was also a farmer. He was also a very involved, lifetime member of Radford Baptist Church. Surviving is his loving wife of forty years, Debra Ramsey Tuck; a son, Keith B. Tuck & wife, Holly of Moneta; two daughters, Amanda T. Craft of Christiansburg, Melanie T. Hurley & husband, Chuck of Moneta; three sisters, Betty T. Dellis & husband, Dennis of Huddleston, Barbara T. Mullins & husband, Larry, Bonnie T. Bates & husband, Karl of Moneta; seven grandchildren, Christopher & Benjamin Craft, Erica, Andrew, Danielle & Sarah Tuck, Peyton Hurley; his mother-in-law, Eunice F. Ramsey of Bedford; his sister-in-law, Rita Lipscomb & husband, Lynwood of Bedford as well as many other loving family members, friends & co-workers. The family requests that those wishing to make memorials to consider Duke Cancer Institute, Office of Development, DUMC 3828, Durham, NC 27710 and earmark it for Melanoma Research. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 11:00 am at Radford Baptist Church with Rev. Karl Hofheinz officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 until 8 PM at Radford Baptist Church. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
