Robert Udell Orange, 73 of Thaxton passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 17, 1939 in Bedford County, a son of the late George Udell Orange and Mary (Bunch) Overstreet Orange. He was also preceded in death by a brother, George Linwood Orange and a sister, Mary Davis. He was a retired employee of Weblite Corporation He is survived by a daughter, Debbie O. Ellis & husband, Mark; his four legged "Grandbabies", Cooper, Arlo & Rosco; a sister, Doris Heck; a brother, Roger Orange and many other loving family members and friends. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Bedford Humane Society, 829 Old Turnpike Road, Bedford, VA 24523. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5 until 7 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
