Nina Bell Crouch, 79 of Bedford, passed away Friday, June 21, 2013 at her residence. She was born on Thursday, July 6, 1933 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Nelson Edward Bell and Hazel Martin Bell. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Howard (Ed) Bell and an aunt, Mable M. Reynolds. She was a retired employee of Halmode Apparel and was a member of Bedford Presbyterian Church. Surviving is her son, Rodney Crouch & wife, Angie of Bedford; her granddaughter, Cayla Crouch; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Bell; cousin, Jim Scli & wife, Vickie; Angie's Mom, Marion Trent; the father of her son, Nelson Crouch; special friends, Tony & Margene Rivera, Kevin Blake. The family requests those wishing to make memorials to consider Bedford Lifesaving Crew, P. O. Box 161, Bedford, VA 24523. Funeral services will be held at the graveside at Greenwood Cemetery on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 11:00 am with Rev. Rick Dellinger officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4 until 6 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
