Pearl Virginia Fielder Kendrick, 86 of Bedford, VA passed away Monday, June 3, 2013 at Campbell Rest Home. She was born on Wednesday, March 16, 1927 in Bedford County, a daughter of the late Oscar Philmore Fielder and Elsie Vennie Aliff Fielder. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Leo Daniel Kendrick. She was a retired employee of Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Surviving are her sister, Linda F. Tuck of Bedford and numerous nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Updike Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Mallory officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call after 2:00 PM and the family will receive friends Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. at the funeral home. Arrangements are being handled by Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
