Mrs. Gand, my Memere' Patty Gamache has told my sister and I of Rudy's passing. What a sad time this is for all. My sister and I sat for hours remembering how kind Rudy was to us when we visited with our Memere' and Pepere' during the summer months while they lived on Kingston Circle. Rudy used to come and get one of us or both to go to his garden and pick vegetables. He would say "lets go and see what we can pick and I can give you from the garden today". Then we would go and find all the treasures. He always made it feel like our very special treasure hunt and it really was because Rudy had the best gardens. We also remembered when we once were down by the brook and my sister Brittany found a turtle. Being a nature buff as Rudy was she was going to box it and take care of it forever. I ran to get my Memere' and Pepere' and we all ran to Brittany who was now coming up the hill in the back yard holding the rather large turtle with both hands and Rudy comes out to help my Pepere' convince her that the turtle would rather be down by the brook. So Rudy convinced her and my Pepere' got a box and they carried the turtle down together to let it go. Up the hill they came, Brittany sad and Rudy still convincing her it was the right thing to do. Oh, I could go on and on but the bottom line is we love both you and Rudy so and will always have memories of a lifetime to share with our children as we are sharing with you Mrs. Gand. We are pretty sad but I cannot even imagine how sad you must be. Please remember we all love you here from Florida. God Bless Jenna and Brittany Hughes
