Mary Haynes St. Clair Klinkenberg, 87 of Bedford, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital. She was born on Tuesday, November 17, 1925 in Bedford Co., a daughter of the late Herbert Hedley Haynes, Sr. and Mary Glenna Gibbs Haynes. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, William Earl St. Clair & Wilmar Bakstad Klinkenberg; and four brothers, Rudolph Haynes, Berkley Haynes Donald Haynes, Hedley Haynes, Jr. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church . Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn St.Clair Blum & husband, Robert of Bedford, Brenda St.Clair Luzano of Thaxton; two sons, Ronald Earl St.Clair, Roger Dale St.Clair & wife, Vicky all of Bedford; eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Seaman & husband, Jim of Forest and three sisters-in-law, Irene Long, Christine St. Clair both of Troutville, Betty St.Clair of Vinton. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Vernon DeLong officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:30 until the time of the service at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
