Curtis Granville Watson, 50 of Goode, VA passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at his residence. He was born on Saturday, November 28, 1959 in Portsmouth, VA, a son of Harlan Granville Watson of Goode and Vertie Lee Underwood Watson of Hampton. He was a employed at Walmart. In addition to his father and mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Hall Watson; a step-daughter, Nora K. Doss of Goode; two sisters, Mary K. Haughey of Hampton, Reba W. Gurdal of Forest; three grandchildren, Christopher Taylor, Austin & Andrew Goin. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford with Rev. Wayne Murphy officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:00 am until the time of the services at
Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.
