Terry Alan Stephens, 55 of Huddleston, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, December 18, 1957 in Annapolis, MD, a son of James Mitchell Stephens and Shirley Knight Stephens of Huddleston, both of whom survive. He was an employee of R. R. Donnelley. In addition to his father & mother, he is survived by a son, Charlie Lockard & wife, Dawn of Franklin, WV; two daughters, Samantha Stephens of Bedford, Michelle Slayers & husband, R. D. of Roanoke; five sisters, Vickie Burr & husband, Jack of Venus, TX, Wendy Gallant & husband, Gary of Evington, Donna Crary & husband, Art of Huddleston, Jackie Tucker & husband, Gary of Lynchburg, Luann Stephens of Huddleston; a brother, Mike Stephens & friend, JoAnn of Huddleston; eight grandchildren, Keinyn, Caleb, Isaiah, Autumn, Keeley, Kaden, Jada & Bodi and another to arrive soon. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at Updike Funeral Chapel, Huddleston. Interment will follow in Mentow Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 29, 2013 from 5 until 7 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
