Obituary of Angela Elliott

Angela Sue Mason Elliott, 52 of Huddleston, passed away Friday, October 4, 2013 at her residence. She was born on Sunday, August 6, 1961 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the Bobbie Keesee Anthony of Gretna and the late Robert A. "Oz" Mason. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Mattox & Tommy Mason. In addition to her mother, she is survive by two sons, Brian Mason ( Mandy ) of Gretna, Jonathan Mason of Huddleston; a daughter, Angela Hines (Ronald) of Gretna, her grandchildren, Brittany Mason, AJ Hines, Amelia, James & Isabella Brumfield; her sisters, Pamela Bowling (Wesley) of Huddleston, Anita Rowland (Charlie) of Hurt, Vicky Gregory (Willie) of Gretna; two special nieces that cared for her with all their heart, Tania Gregory & Ashley Cox, both of Gretna; numerous nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and cousins all of whom called her Nana Sue. She loved people no matter who you were and she was always kindhearted and loved her family with all of her heart. She had numerous friends who loved her dearly. Funeral services will be held at the graveside at the Callahan Family Cemetery, Evington on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Mark Hopkins officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 09, 2013 from 12:30 until 1:30 PM at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Huddleston.
